Entertainment
Everything
merges in Torremolinos to make your stay, into something of
an unforgettable dream. From its idyllic climate, to its modern
and leading urban infrastructure, swirling to the grande finale
of the Mediterranean sun, which softly tans the sand of the
magnificent beaches, the attractive surrounding landscape,
the romantic suggestion of its narrow streets and whitewashed
houses, or the wide offer of cultural and leisure activities
makes it a different touristic centre, hard to beat because
Torremolinos is also the town of entertainment.
To meet the great variety of tastes and demands from people
around the world, Torremolinos offers many ways to have fun.
We
cant start with a quick tour of the many places of interest
for those who don't want to miss any of the hidden corners
that shape Torremolinos and that leave a pure Andalusian impression
on the visitor. Among others, San Miguel street, otherwise
know as Europe´s street deserves special mention, the
Plaza Costa del Sol, the Nogalera Plaza, the Torre Vigia (Watchtower)
of Torremolinos, better know as the Pimentel Tower, the Cuesta
del Tajo, the Calvario, the fishermen´s district of
the Carihuela and the avenues of Montemar and Carlota Alessandri.
Of a more cultural nature there is the Post Office Exhibition
Centre, the Municipal Library, the Municipal Cultural Centre
and the Town Hall.
For those who enjoy long walks, as rest and relaxation on
their holidays, can do so comfortably amid sun and the pure
air that pervades the Paseo Marítimo, a beach promenade
of more than seven kilometres that permits beach enjoyment
in another fashion, by inviting visitors to enter the typical
and fabulous "chiringuitos" (beachside restaurants)
and terraces that dot the Promenade from beginning to end.
Strolls along the urban parks or among one of the three pinewoods
of Torremolinos, result quite relaxing.

A permanent bazaar where you can find almost anything, Torremolinos
offers a great variety of places for your shopping. The heart
of Torremolinos is San Miguel street, neurological and commercial
centre of the city. On San Miguel street, there are multitude
of opportunities to shop or sample all types of food in one
of the many terraces along the street.
But
this offer is not incompatible with the big amusement areas
available in Torremolinos such as Aquapark, the largest aquatic
park on the Costa del Sol, specially designed for family fun.
You can enjoy all kind of aquatic attractions; giant slides
like the Kamikaze, the Wild River, etc., on its 70.000 m2
or visit the "Cocodriles Park", where one can see
over 300 types of cocodriles and also the Theatre of Magic,
"Teatro de la Magia".
